Switched On (Primary School)

YEAR P TO 3 (junior version)
YEAR 4 TO 7 (senior version)

Bush dance gets re-vamped to give true-blue Aussie music culture street 'cred'.

Fiddlesticks use electric violins, electronic effects and a loop station, with typical bush instruments like the washboard, spoons, saw, clapsticks, bush base and lagerphone to open up the possibilities of music meets technology.

With a dynamic approach to the age-old barn dance, Fiddlesticks teach funky steps, cool tunes, storytelling and musical innovation through a vibrant mix of music, technology, song and dance. Students are kept enthralled from beginning to end by this high energy performance.

Switched On and QAC's Teacher Resource Kits complement Essential Learnings in The Arts (dance, music, drama) and SOSE (time, continuity, change, culture and identity).
